Born in Greece and based in London for the past seven years, my practice emerges from an ongoing dialogue between identity and space. Currently undertaking my second year of the BA Fashion Communication: Image and Promotion at Central Saint Martins, my work sits between the digital and the physical, where identity is rehearsed, edited, and re-presented. Through concept and narrative development, styling, moving image, and web design, I experiment with building work that reflects how we see ourselves and how we choose to be seen within the fashion system and beyond. Looking forward, I want to expand my skillset towards printed matter and publishing, using print as an active and critical space within fashion culture. Often disoriented by the excess of online fashion exposure, I am interested in producing work for print not as a nostalgic gesture, but as a response to my need for clarity and direction. My goal is to create printed matter that breaks with speed while retaining the attitude and experimentation of digital media, and that restores the discipline of editing, selection and authorship.
